Here is the list of Las Vegas Restaurants and their 2009 awards from AAA, Michelin Guide and Mobil Travel Guide. The highest honors are three stars from Michelin, five stars from Mobil and five diamonds from AAA.

Encore Wynn Resort

Wynn resorts recently opened Encore adjacent to its flagship, Wynn Las Vegas. Encore’s 2,034 suites are cosmopolitan and residential in style. They’re also large, with Resort Suites and basic Tower suites measuring 700-745 square feet, with some Tower suites as large as 5,800 square feet. The 72,000 square feet casino floor features columned pavillions, canopies and draperies that partition the gaming areas into separate chambers. The property offers five restaurants: Sinatra features modern Italian cuisine, Switch is a French inspired steakhouse and seafood restaurant, Boero Steak has an art collection by Columbian artist Fernando Botero, the Society Cafe offers casual dining and Wazuzu with a 27 foot crystal dragon along one wall serves pan Asian cuisine. In addition there are seven bars and lounges as well as XS a new nightclub by Victor Drai.

City Center opening Dec 09

City Center completion is slated for later this year. The $8 billion City Center will be a city within a city, encompassing hotels, residences, entertainment, dining and nightclubs, as well as 300,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, and The Crystals, a 500,000 square foot retail and entertainment district under a crystalline canopy. The centerpiece of the 76 acre development will be the 61 story, 4,000 room Aria Resort & Casino, opening Dec. 17. Aria will consist of two curvilinear towers filled with natural light uses elements such as reclaimed wood and native sandstone. Guestroom perks will include floor to ceiling window and advanced remote control systems. Entertainment will consist of a new Cirque du Soleil production celebrating the musical legacy of  Elvis Presley, and there will be nightclubs, bars and lounges as well. Aria’s dining lineup will boast several restaurants helmed by acclaimed chefs.

The Palazzo exudes luxury with a high level of service. The hotel has 10 pools, five fountains and four Jacuzzi spas. Top accommodations include the Chairman, Presidential and Penthouse Suites. The Concierge Luxury Suites are highly impressive as well, which are 720 square feet. Its 130 square foot bathroom exuded luxury, with a roman tub with separate glass enclosed shower and 17-inch TV. The living room has a sofa sleeper and a dining table, with a work area. Clients staying in  concierge catagory  have access to the 23rd floor lounge, which provides private check-in and meal presentations throughout the day. The hotel also offers The Canyon Ranch Spa Club. Dining is an extravaganza throughout the hotel.
